I turn twenty today. Numbers mean little, but this one seems special. It's a milestone. Adolescence never suited me, and today I am formally free. Not even the discovery of beauteous birthday boots in Copenhagen could induce such excitement... (it would bring about a lot of mad dancing and grinning though, so if you know the Strøget, please point me in the right direction :)Joyeux anniversaire aussi à Géraldine!

An age when your body and mind are just finding their grooves (clearly I don't subscribe to the 13 is perfect view of fashion). It's an age when your parents are still young, and so are siblings and friends. It's age when birth is closer than death. Wonderful. Try to locate, if you can, a moment of perfectly self-conscious stillness, when your mind is spinning and the world is revolving around you. Find it and put it in a jar for when you'll need it.
