Phillip Lim is the latest on my long list of favourite designers. His 3.1 label debuted in fall 2005 and I've been in love with practically every simplistic, feminine and slightly unexpected garment that he has created since then. Lim's self proclaimed "classic with a bit of madness" collection for fall /06 was presented yesterday in NY via a tableau...I love the look at left- it's very Alice in Wonderland in the Army. The combination of mini dress with striped skirt and military inspired jacket is fabulous. The perfect outfit for tea with the Mad Hatter. I'll leave the white tights to Gwen Stefani though.
Casual with an edge... love black jeans, particularly with boots.
Doesn’t this dress from Lim's collection look very similar to the one that Sofia Coppola wore to Cannes in May 2004? I'm guessing that Sofia was wearing Lanvin or Chloe.
