bimbotic bores

I may never buy Elle magazine again. Honestly, first W magazine puts Jessica Simpson on the April cover, and now Elle chooses Paris Hilton. Are these fashion bibles or gossip magazines? I can't believe that the numerous stunning, versatile models in the fashion world are being overlooked for trollop like this.

I was horrified by that too.

Mmmm....this was also a topic of much distress with me as well, I'll admit. What with Paris' smug I'm-fabulous-and-I-know-it pose and the most exciting promise on the front cover that we, as the abiding reader, would discover the 'real' reason why Nicole turned on her (when in actual fact there was no such truth inside) I didn't get my hopes up too high; but when I actually turned the page to find her dressed up in the most fabulous Cavalli dresses all was forgiven! Surely you can relate? Mind you, I do have a soft spot for Cavalli! (And even though that Louis Vuitton dress is now tainted with thoughts of the wicked peroxide witch whenever I see it, it was still a breathtaking creation!)

I am so bored with "celebrities" on the cover of fashion mags. Unless it is for something special like when the movie Chicago came out. Bring back the supermodels!

Magazines aren't charitable organizations.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

For every 1 brilliant you who isn't interested in L'Hilton, there's about 50 more who are.
