Géraldine found a femme with an all black version last month:
Then came the booties...
...which I have been fixated on for several months. It seems I am not alone in my infatuation though, as Doré created a visual ode to these black and silver beauties just last week:
And my love affair with Pierre Hardy 2006 culminated in THESE...
Gasp! Thigh.High.Hardy.Boots. I practically fell to my knees in ecstasy at the sight of them. Have you ever seen such perfection in platform wedges? These boots remind me of my favourite avant-garde Moon Girl Collection created by Andres Courreges in 1964 (another Parisian designer who, like Pierre Hardy, happened to work at Balenciaga before launching his own label). The ultra modern Courreges boots were instantly recognizable for their minimalist lines, silver colour and details like cutouts and embellishments in geometric shapes.
The Thigh High Hardys are fitting I think, for the ultra modern femmes of this century. As long as she is not on a budget!
pain. that is what i feel when i can't agree with one of my favorites bloggers. but i just can't find the beauty of those boots!, they kinda remind me the ones i saw in the 'kinky boots' movie, just in a really demure version. fashion gods forgive me! hahaha! its just that i can't stand anything that is likely to not being inherited to my granddaughter.
can I at list say that I truly agree with you about how gorgeous are the two first items?
Haha Gabriela, you made me smile. We are all entitled to our own tastes!
I must say for me, it's all the in the bag ,
with the hard golden lines and just,
but I'm not a platform girl although pierre hardy shoes in general are just ultra femme , I agree.
life just good
Oh M. Hardy, how many times have you made my heart flutter? It's his killer pumps I'm always after, with particular respect to toe cleavage -an amount just right, tasteful with sexy results.
Love those boots! Anyone associated with Balenciaga is amazing in my books.
Those booties are really amazing. If only I were independently wealthy.
I must ask my friend Maggie, who was one of Balenciaga and Courreges top model favorite, if she has any photos of herself in these type of shoes, or sacks...She was on many magazine covers in the 60s!!
