deja vu

Halló from the reflection on my laptop screen...
It's 2 am and I'm trying to get a good chunk of work done before hitting the road this week. The past days have been a busy cycle of early mornings, steamy afternoons, and late nights. I'm very happy to be escaping from Toronto in a few sleeps, and will try to be a good blogeuse as soon as I find internet access. If you're going offline or away for the long weekend, have a lovely time. A bientôt!

PS. Stopped into a shoe outlet on my way to lunch today, and fell in love with a pair of motorcycle boots. When I turned them over to see the sale price, I discovered that they were called the "Adelinda" style (no joke), and that this last pair happened to be a rare, perfectly fitting 41. Is there such a thing as shopping fate? I think so. Occasionally at least.

I believe in shopping fate! Too bad it doesn't seem to apply to me when things go on sale (i.e. when I would actually buy things) :(

And have fun on your next trip - is it New York this time?

oh dear, there is no such thing is a coincidence, but there is such a thing as rationalization. either way, if you love them, and you can buy them, they are indeed fated to be yours.
; )

my best friend has motocycle boots, she looks awesome in them!

geraldine: They are not fantastic ones, but they will tide me over :) I'm always on the lookout for motorcycle boots too.

henna: Out-of-stock aldo. Not exactly Ann Demeulemeester, but they'll do for now :)

j: I think you mean "ménage à trois". Sleep and travel are indeed very welcome.

Incidentally, I cannot respond to your messages.

la chipie: I'll take some soon.

mrs. fashion: I suppose! It doesn't happen very often, but I enjoyed it.

clare: Aw, I know. My size is always gone in sales.

amanda: Thank you.

schizotres: oui!

jennine: No, I don't think it's coincidence, but I'm quite good at not rationalizing. I'm on too tight a budget for that :)

Yep I similar had shopping fate with a pair of boots about 10 years ago. half price and in my common size.

It hasn't happened since, so I hope it was not a once in a lifetime event!

Yes, shopping fate is what makes the world go round -- or at least my wardrobe...
