sass and bide pt.1

The black, white and grey collection felt equal parts futuristic and Grecian, with a lot of nautical and graphic details thrown in. If this collection takes off, then it appears that 'boulette' skirts could be the new Sienna skinny jean. Haven't made up my mind as to whether this is a good or bad thing.

A little Barbarella:

**check out the backs of the dresses- the back detail is usually my favourite part of Sass and Bide clothing.

I don't like the boulette, it creates an odd silhouette for the hips and emphasizes the pear shape.

i knew the boulette wasn't going anywhere! WHEW! i shelled out for the CUTEST bubble dress from the ottshop, which my boyfriend never lets me wear because he says it looks like i'm wearing pantaloons. yet i still love it and am not giving it up, at least for one more season. : )

I don't think the boulette would suit many people, but I've been thinking it would work on people with very narrow hips, who have inverted-triangle bodies - the opposite of the pear shape.

I totally agree, the backs of most Sass and Bide outfits are the best. I bought a S&B dress for the back design alone.
Nice blog by the way.
