backward brilliance

"I did things a bit backward" says 39 year old CarolAnn Wachter, who spent years designing hats and teaching painting before bringing her compelling aesthetic vision to apparel for the first time last year. It was one of her gorgeous spiral cloches that first caught my eye when she designed under the label 'Mind Millinery'. Then I stumbled upon a few 40s inspired pieces from her debut clothing collection and was hooked like puss to his boots.

Drop waists, sashes and ruffled sleeves await you in Wachter's 20s inspired spring line. Backwards, it seems, is the way to go.

Drag. When I saw the title of this entry, I assumed it would be about the brilliance of Kris Kross!

Gorgeous pictures! And about your Cpnhgn-question; I don't really have any tips, as it's been quite a while since I was there myself. If you read swedish: http://manolo.se/?p=472#more-472 When are you going?

In the top photo she seems to have a leg missing. Anyone else notice that?
